Bright, Exuberant Indian Wedding

Winnie van Heerden - Thursday, February 11, 2016

Over the course of three days, this amazing bride and groom celebrated their union with Hindu ceremonies and traditions full of color, joy and personal details. This couple traveled from Chicago in order to celebrate their nuptials in an exuberant 3-day celebration. Per tradition, their celebration was divided into two parts. The first is the Sangeet, a party with celebration and dancing. They had amazing details such as strewn rose petals around beautiful colored lanterns and an abundance of food trucks, in true Californian style.

The second is the ceremony. The ceremony included a full day celebration that was separated into two as well. The first half of the day was the ceremony which included the groom's traditional Baraat and the beautiful ceremony under the colorful Mandap. This continued later into the evening with the bride and groom under a beautifully decorated arbor and a lively reception filled with amazing details.

It was truly an honor and a privilege to be a part of such a special celebration for Swati and Sachin.
