In recent years, the boho wedding trend has exploded in Southern California. This desert wedding inspiration shoot in Joshua Tree is equal parts bohemian and elegant, and perfect for the bride with a more high-end style that still wants to embrace the desert vibe and its natural surroundings. The bride and bridesmaid dresses are a lovely combination of lace with a soft mint pastel that is echoed in the table settings.
To create the floral suite for this shoot, I really drew inspiration from our surroundings - the desert. A decadent combination of succulents, baby pink roses and peonies, protea, and accents like peach hypericum berries and blue thistle decorated the bouquets. Protea is a newly popular flower that adds a dramatic flair to your bouquet; it creates an element of uniqueness while allowing the overall look to be quite elegant.
It was truly a pleasure to be a part of this talented vendor team to bring this concept to life.
